Our Testimonials
We used Angies list exclusively to find three quotes, and we couldn't be happier with dRemodeling; within a few hours of contacting dRemodeling, Dan called to set up an appointment to meet us and look at the space. What impressed us most on first meeting was Dan's integrity and straightforwardness; he got right down to business without getting into a sales pitch. He let us know that he structures his quotes based on labor hours, and then you pick your materials (and then you control those costs based on your selections). That made a ton of sense to us. He also let us know about the types of items that would make a bathroom project more labor intensive and therefore more expensive (recessed niches, putting in an exhaust fan, the addition of a handheld shower, extra outlets, removing a window, etc.) Our old master bath was peculiar (at best) featuring a giant soaking tub with a cramped corner shower, bizarrely low countertops, no storage (other than under the leaky sink,) and a very odd hexagonal "man window" directly over the toilet (allowing the gentleman of the house to peruse his domain when standing in front of the toilet.) After meeting with Dan initially last November and discussing his quote, we started emailing with his designer, Crystal, right around thanksgiving of last year. (All of the design and preliminary task scheduling happened over email, which was great.) Crystal took a look at a Pinterest board we had going, and asked us about our needs for the space. She sent us a design board with specs and dimensions, with pictures focusing on materials. After we finalized the design, Crystal emailed us a list of materials with prices; dRemodeling ordered the materials for us a few weeks before Christmas. Once most of the materials had arrived, we were on the schedule to start work in January. The guys had wrapped up the majority of the project whole project by the end of February, and the shower glass was installed in March. Dan suggested someone come and attend to punch list items and that got wrapped up last month. In summary: the process was managed clearly, communication was good, we were invoiced promptly and the final product is beautiful. Working with the team, we felt we were treated fairly and like valuable customers; (when there were a few boxes of extra tiles at the end, Dan credited our account.) I would absolutely work with Dan and his team again.

The homeowner came to dRemodeling for help transforming her boring manila bathroom into a luxurious bathroom space and shower system. She wanted to create a more current style while keeping the character of her center city row home in mind. We settled on a gray and white theme, featuring carrara marble on the floors and walls. The shower enclosure was relocated and doubled in size to accommodate a gracious bench, recessed niche, hand shower, rain shower, and fixed shower head for a luxurious showering experience. The vanity was similarly expanded to extend the entire length of the wall, with two sinks and a make-up area between. The vanity built in a storm gray color which perfectly coordinates with the tone of the marble, adding just the right…
