Our Testimonials
dRemodeling is a terrific group to work with. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond our expectations. We purchased our 100+ year-old Victorian home in September 2011. We had difficult negotiations with the Seller, who gave us a 24-hour window to get price estimates for some structural and electrical repairs (identified during our home inspection) that needed to be done as a condition of the sale. Here's a challenge: Try finding a contractor who's willing to come to a site with less that 24 hours notice on a Saturday! We were so relieved when Dan Dragomir, dRemodeling's general manager, agreed to meet us that afternoon at the house. He walked through with us, took careful notes and photos to document the work that needed to be done, and had the quote to us by the next day. dRemodeling began working on our home in early October 2011 and finished in early January 2012. All of the guys that Dan sent out were qualified, skilled, courteous, and really nice people to have in your home. Big home renovations can be so stressful -- and these guys made the process as easy as it could possibly have been. They arrived up on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, and were always in good humour (even on the days when the work was really tough). Because our house is so old, lots of unexpected issues and problems arose during the process of the renovations. Because of this, the project required many more labor hours than Dan had originally expected. Even so, he honored our original quote. There was a small increase in price (only about 2% of the total cost of the job) because of some additional materials that were needed, but we were not charged for the additional labor. Dan and Craig (of Bickings Electric) were very responsive to all of our requests throughout the project. When we decided halfway through the originally scheduled work that we wanted to do some kitchen remodeling, too, they were great about promptly getting the additional work into the schedule and gave us a very reasonable price for that additional work. Valentine, who did a lot of the carpentry and kitchen remodeling work at our house, is incredibly attentive to details and took great care with the work. Elvin did a beautiful job patching holes in walls and ceilings -- and we were amazed at how quickly he was able to get the patching finished! Craig and his team skillfully performed a complete electrical overhaul in our challenging old home, and we now have so much more peace of mind to know that our electrical system is modern and safe. dRemodeling really transformed our home in ways that we are so very happy with. We highly recommend them!

This Society Hill beauty didn't start off that way. But with a little imagination and hard work, our design and build team transformed this space from dark and closed-off to open and inviting. During the course of remodeling, dRemodeling not only took down two walls to open up the kitchen to the rest of the home, but also relocated the washer and dryer AND staircase to the opposite side of the home. These changes totally transformed the space, expanding the kitchen's footprint twice-over and offering ample counter space and storage between the clean and crisp quartz peninsula, and the pantry adjacent to the refrigerator. The warm, natural-wood cabinets are simply the cherry on top in this transitional kitchen design and build…
