Modern Linen and Boulder: A Dual-Tone Kitchen Makeover with Warm Accents
Project Description
Welcome to our latest kitchen transformation, where modernity meets warmth in a beautifully balanced dual-tone design. The cabinetry sets the stage for this inviting space, with the perimeter cabinets painted in Waypoint’s serene Painted Linen, and the island standing out in a robust Painted Boulder shade. This contrast not only defines the kitchen's layout but also highlights the island as a central gathering spot.
The countertops are graced with MSI Calacatta Laza Quartz, known for its striking marble-like appearance and durability. This luxurious surface brings a touch of elegance to the kitchen, complementing both the linen and boulder cabinetry with its crisp white background and dramatic veining.
A special feature of this kitchen is the walnut edge grain butcher block countertop, adding a natural warmth and practicality to the food preparation area. Its rich tones and smooth finish make it not just a functional workspace but also a piece of art.
Illuminating the space are 6-inch recessed LED lights with white trim, casting a warm white glow that enhances the cozy ambiance of the kitchen. These lights are strategically placed to highlight the kitchen's features and provide ample lighting for all types of tasks.
The backsplash, featuring TileBar Montauk Gin subway tile, adds texture and a touch of coastal charm with its unique color and glossy finish. This backsplash ties the whole design together, creating a cohesive look that complements both the cabinetry and countertops.
