Modern Cherry Kitchen Makeover in Philadelphia
Project Description
Modern Cherry Kitchen
As the heart of a complete home remodel, the comfortable modern aesthetic of the kitchen was important for inspiring the design theme of rest of the home. A neutral-toned, stained cherry cabinet is the glue that holds this kitchen together. It is simultaneously elegant and casual, which is reflected in the choices for the countertops in white quartz, and the backsplash in a carrara marble. The hardwood flooring is no afterthought either, coordinating beautifully with the cabinetry and grounding the space. Also a main feature of this remodel are the guest and master bathrooms. Either bathroom draws its design inspiration from the kitchen in both color theme and overall style. In both spaces, neutral tone vein-cut travertine is installed on the floor and walls, tying the home’s color scheme together. Coordinating modern white vanities were installed as well, with a single being installed in the guest, and a double in the master. Modern, brushed nickel fixtures were used throughout, with body sprays featured in the master bath, and a rain shower head in the guest bath for a luxury feel.
