Project Manager Residential Remodeling
We are seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Our Project Manager will manage between 6-12 projects in various stages while also maintaining top-quality remodeling experiences for our clients. The Project Manager will be responsible for customer satisfaction as well as profitability of the job.

Job Description
We are seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Our Project Manager will manage between 6-12 projects in various stages while also maintaining top-quality remodeling experiences for our clients. The Project Manager will be responsible for customer satisfaction as well as profitability of the job.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the company's construction jobs on-and-off site. Conscientious performance is extremely important and vital to company success. The Project Manager is on the company’s front line. This individual will prioritize quality workmanship, effective teamwork and respect for communication during interactions with customers.
The Project Manager is responsible for pre-construction planning. Also, for coordinating with sales, design teams, and general managers in advance of a project’s contract being signed ensuring the scope of work for each project is accurate. The Project Manager will also attend trade walk-throughs to verify existing conditions and mechanical placements.
The Project Manager will develop project estimates and resource allocation. The PM will also assist with producing labor, material estimate, aid in subcontractor selection, and participate in the allocation of dRemodeling in-house labor. This individual will predict and seek solutions for future resource conflicts.
Hourly employees should pick up materials only under emergency conditions. These pick-ups should be arranged to be picked-up during the beginning of the workday or at the end of the day on the way home. The Project Manager will ensure material pick-ups are performed by the appropriate employees at the appropriate time. This individual will also follow up with missing materials, damaged materials, getting materials back to dRemodeling, change orders, tracking, scheduling, etc.
The Project Manager schedules all subcontractors, works out layout issues, ensures the proper performance of all subcontractors, and ensures timely inspections by subcontractors.
The Project Manager will join the general manager, sales representatives, and the designer in pre-construction conferences. Also, quality control pre-completion punch list meetings/walk-thru for every project. At the completion of the pre-construction conference, the Project Manager will be awarded complete authority to manage the project in a manner that will ensure the customer is completely satisfied. As part of this customer-satisfaction assurance, the Project Manager will ensure each customer feels they have made the “right choice” in choosing our company, that the project exceeded their expectations, and that the project exceeds the projected gross margin of the project.
The Project Manager will ensure work areas are properly and regularly tidied and cleaned by the technicians on site. Clean the job site daily and see that trash is hauled weekly.
The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating any minor changes that will occur on the project. If the change is different than what is in the contract and results in an extra charge, the Project Manager will keep accurate accounting of all extra time and material for the change order. For all major changes, the Project Manager should be sure to refer the customer to the general manager before extra work begins. The general manager will coordinate with the Project Manager to determine the cost in order to obtain the customers’ approval.
