SCENARIO 2- STANDARD BATH WITH WALK IN SHOWER (+/- 50 SF)
Overview
This scenario illustrates the cost associated with remodeling an existing 5'x8' bathroom with a walk-in shower or converting a bathroom with a tub to a walk-in shower. In addition to the initial consultation and design of the space, this bathroom will be completely demolished, plumbing and electric will be updated to meet the current code requirements, and each will be relocated as per the new design plan. Renovation will include a new custom walk-in shower and ceramic or porcelain tiles installed on the bathroom floor, shower floor, and shower walls. We will replace all the existing fixtures with new ones, including a new toilet, vanity, lighting, accessories, faucets, mirrors, molding, and trims. Painting of the entire bathroom is also included.
While this type of project is very similar in scope to Scenario 1 (Standard Bath with Tub), the overall cost will be higher, as installing a custom walk-in shower takes more time, skill, and requires more materials than a standard tub installation. A standard bathroom with walk-in shower typically takes between 16 and 20 working days to complete.
Keep in mind that the costs listed below are just averages based on projects we’ve completed in the past. Before we sign a contract, we will visit your home for an in-home remodeling assessment, which will be followed by a detailed proposal and cost estimate tailored specifically to your unique project.
